The exceptionally talented Pop artist Collin Raye has released him CD entitled In This Life. I am very confident and happy to announce that I believe Collin Raye fans, and Pop fans alike will be pleased with this one. With the release of In This Life Collin Raye’s artistic excellence is on full display as Raye has once again delivered a brilliant collection of tracks that could very well be him best work to date. In This Life kicks off with an outstanding track, What They Don’t Know, that I suspect will be heard on radio stations everywhere, and deservedly so. It’s a really nice track.

Pop music fans will recognize some of the well known guests that have been assembled to play along with Raye on several of the tracks. Artists like Garth Fundis and John Hobbs just to name a couple. Listen to and I think you’ll agree that the song choices are excellent, the production is outstanding and Collin Raye is clearly in top form.

Itulah sebuah hasil talenta seorang Collin Raye yang insya Allah mengilhami banyak orang untuk mampu mengsyukuri nikmat hidup.  Tujuan Allah menciptakan kehidupan dan kematian adalah untuk menguji hamba-hamba-Nya siapa diantaranya yang baik amal perbuatannya selama di dunia (ahsanu ‘amala). Allah menggunakan berbagai cara untuk menguji keimanan kita, baik ujian dalam bentuk kenikmatan, kebahagiaan, kesenangan, jabatan atau juga dapat berupa kekurangan, ketakutan, kesedihan, kemiskinan.

Jadi hakekat menghadapi kehidupan di dunia ini sesungguhnya hanya dengan dua hal, yaitu sabar dan syukur, karena Allah senantiasa akan menguji kita berupa kesusahan dan kesenangan. Sabar berarti menahan diri dari membenci atas Takdir-Nya, dan menahan lisan dari keluh kesah. Dan syukur berarti menempatkan seluruh pemberian Allah pada diri kita sesuai dengan kehendak Allah. “Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukadziban” (Maka ni’mat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?)

Dan pada saat ini akupun bersyukur karena cinta Allah yang begitu besar kepadaku sebagai hambaNya yang dhaif tiada lelah Dia berikan hidayah dan hikmah dibalik setiap kejadian kecil yang mengiringi perjalanan cintaku.
